August 8th Unaided Eye session

I was out again at 2105 GMT, having been alerted by Twitter that there was an International Space Station pass due. Although the conditions were cloudy, it shone about the same brightness as Venus, although it often dimmed while passing behind thicker cloud. It passed just south of Aquila and, while doing do, a fainter satellite passed it on an upward path at about at 90 degree angle.

Once the ISS had gone, I saw that the cloud had thinned around northern Perseus and Cassiopeia. At 2121 GMT I saw what appeared to be a faint Perseid but could well have been brighter, due to dimming by cloud. By 2130 GMT, thick cloud had moved in and obscured the area.
